ARE EBC AND EBI MEMBERS ABLE TO NOMINATE?

Absolutely. The Excellence Awards are open to the entire organization regardless of your category of membership. We welcome all members to be a part of this excellence program.

ARE EBC AND EBI MEMBERS ELIGIBLE TO WIN ALL THE CATEGORIES?

Yes, the Excellence Awards are open to all members of the Evolutionary Business Council.

CAN I NOMINATE SOMEONE FROM OUTSIDE THE EBC?

No, the EBC Excellence Awards are only for members of the organization.

WHAT CHARACTERISTICS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS ARE YOU LOOKING FOR IN AN AWARD CANDIDATE?

The Award recipients are role models who exemplify an extraordinary commitment to public service and social responsibility. Specifically, each award has it’s own unique criteria. For example, the More Award is for the contributions that EBC members make to the organization and one another.

The other two awards are for the contributions EBC members make outside the organization. Details can be found above in the award descriptions. Award Nominees share their deep concern for others. We seek to honor those who have demonstrated selflessness, exhibited a commitment to service and the betterment of society, and who have had a significant impact on the lives of others in their community, nation, and/or the world. We particularly look for those whose business and approach is centred on serving others, as well as those whose efforts will last beyond their lifetime.

HOW DO I NOMINATE SOMEONE FOR AN AWARD?

Simply complete the nomination form and submit it along with a written summary explaining why you think your nominee should be recognized, and the names and phone numbers of people to contact regarding your nominee’s activities. It is beneficial to include newspaper articles, letters, and any additional information to support your nomination. Nominations for are need to be received no later than date to be announced.

WHAT IS THE AWARD NOMINATION PROCESS?

All of the nominations we receive are acknowledged, reviewed, and evaluated. The Award Pre Screening Committee reviews every nomination received, and provides the Award Review Panel with a broad sampling of finalists. The Award Panel makes the final decisions. Both the Pre-Screening Committee and Award Review Panel are comprised of members across the organization.

EBC Awards of Excellence

The Evolutionary Business Council is an organization whose mission is to bring leaders of vision together to expand global change.

Thank you for your interest in the Evolutionary Business Council’s annual Excellence Awards. The EBC presents awards for exemplary service that supports the mission and vision of EBC/EBI, our members and the communities we serve. Our goal is to acknowledge and celebrate the fabulous content, leadership and influence results our members are bringing to the world. We intend to leverage this recognition to bring a positive halo back to the organization as a whole, through which, we all benefit. With that in mind, we’re especially grateful for your participation!

The awards are presented on an annual basis at our global meeting. Information on the nominations process is included below.

Do you know a member of our Evolutionary Business Council community (EBC member) who exemplifies the values of giving generously, expanding global change, and collaborating with others in the process?

There are seven awards total; six of which you may nominate more than one EBC member for. Nominations are accepted until TBA. Please note the following distinctions:

The Global Engagement Award is open to all members, and scoring is tabulated based on member participation in EBC events and committees. There is no nomination process for this award.The Global Impact Award is an external award that will recognize a non-member leader that meets the criteria. Follow the regular nomination process to submit a candidate.
